WE ARE THE CHOSEN PEOPLE!

Lols!

Ganito tayo ka-easy-going at unassuming, masayahin at humble kumbaga.

The thing is...

Naalala mo pa ba yung lesson noon about "Sinocentrism", "Eurocentrism" "Americentrism", "Herrenvolk [Aryan Supremacy]", at kung anu-ano pang "ism"?
Di mo maalala? Eh yung "Ethnocentrism", "Chosen People", "Nationalism"?

Andami terms nuh kaya di natin maalala talaga... but what's the point?

China - Sinocentrism
Europe - Eurocentrism
America - Americentrism
Germany - Herrenvolk
Japan - Shintoism
Israel - Chosen People

Syempre di tayo magpapatalo dyan! Naalala ba ninyo ang mga ito:
Juan Tamad
Ningas Cogon
Crab Mentality
Manana Habit
Walang Disiplina
Colonial Mentality
Regional Racism
Bahala Na
Balat Sibuyas
Social Climbing
At ang walang kamatayang... Filipino Time
There's more to us than these labels. At alam natin 'yan.

We are not saying na kailangan baguhin ang itinututuro sa school dahil wala tayong sense of identity as Filipinos. As a matter of fact, everytime na may mangmamaliit sa atin online, binabanatan natin ng trolling at bashing, di ba? Lols!

Halika't himayin natin isa-isa:

Juan Tamad - My history professor in college once showed us that this idea came from an american writer that came across farmers that were sleeping under the shades of trees instead of working. Di niya alam nagsi-"siesta" [an acquired habit from the Spaniards] lang ang mga magsasaka kinahapunan dahil madaling araw pa lang nagtatrabaho na sila. Besides, being lazy is a choice of an individual and not a cultural trait that outsiders can attribute to any collective.

Ningas Cogon, Crab Mentality, Manana Habit, Social Climbing, etc. If that's the case, then the rest of the 7.5 billion na tao sa mundo ay walang ganyang habits?

Lols! Anyway, we did what we had to do to survive.

Besides, may tinatawag pong diversity and cultural relativism.

We are a very spiritual people kaya natural po ito sa atin.

Ask someone in Korea if they have the same belief systems, like "Korean Time". Yeah, it's probably something Uncle Sam also taught them to believe about themselves.

"A lie told often enough becomes the truth."

And everyone thinks that our being hospitable and other "Positive" cultural traits are good things, right? Think again.

The educational system has been crafted after the American educational system. An improved, more sophisticated and more subtle system of manipulation from an old colonial master to another. We had a chance to change it all, a paradigm shift, but we've lost it after the war.

However, with the advent of the internet and social media, I think we now have a chance to reclaim our former glory. And this is the answer to one of my readers' question:

I don't get it."

The light shines brightest in the dark. It's been a while since we have been colonized by the Spaniards, the Japanese and then USA. I think you'd agree that that's our darkest days as a nation. If we'll look closely at our country's dark past, you'll see the striking contrast between the character of true Filipinos against the image our school textbooks are trying to paint.

Our collective consciousness has been diluted by external forces.

Let's ask ourselves... do we really deserve to be called Filipinos? Or Ophirians? Do our national heroes deserve just a single day or two to be celebrated?

They didn't die for our country just for us to celebrate their death anniversary, nor to consider ourselves as "lazy", "always late", "having no discipline", etc.

What I'm trying to say is, we need a unifying symbol as Filipinos. It could be a person, a belief system or any social construct like ethnocentrism or whatever. A symbol that's above and beyond the nonsensical "Selfie Capital Of The World" that only reinforces the borrowed american lifestyle of vanity and consumerism.

Do you know where Germans got their national identity, a strong conviction of being a superior race? It came from a single word "Übermensch". The term was coined by Friedrich Nietzsche. It didn't have any meaning until Hitler used it and created a fantasy to inspire Germans to believe that they all came from a superhuman race, The Aryans. Hitler was successful in harnessing its occult power to make Germany a force to be reckoned with.

Fortunately for us, we also came from a rather more cultured and sophisticated but filthy rich ancestors... The Ophirians. We just have to tap on that untold history and use it to reclaim our former glory as a nation!

Kaya maraming pilipino ang hindi umuunlad ang buhay kasi iniisip nating mahirap tayo, wala tayong kayang patunayan, hindi natin kayang maging independent, marami tayong kakulangan, at marami pang iba.

The negative internal monologue that we are poor, we are lazy, we are so on and so forth, never served us in any way so why not disown them all!

Pagisipan po ninyo ito: OUR ANCIENT ISLANDS OF GOLD

Heto panuorin ninyo: [1] THE RISE OF OPHIR! [2] THE LOST ISLANDS OF GOLD: THE FORGOTTEN HISTORY OF OPHIR.

If we can study other cultures' irrelevant Supranationalism, why can't we devise our own? Gumawa tayo ng sarili nating "Übermensch"! Let's start addressing ourselves as Ophirians!

We can all be successful on our own, as independent individual investors and traders. However, what difference does it make if it's only you who succeeded; kung magisa ka lang na umunlad dahil sa kaalaman mo?

They're helping our fellow Filipinos while we still have a good opportunity.

It's about time, mga kabayan. Sabi nga nila, "Those who are crazy enough to believe that they can change the world are the ones who do."

It's too far-fetched? Masyadong ambisyoso? Ilusyon? Mahirap? They believe that they are superior. Kabaliwan ba na maniwalang kaya din natin? Can we at least believe that we are their equals?

Or perhaps, we just lack the courage to make a difference. I heard someone said, "Sometimes, courage skips a generation." If so, then let our generation be the one that brings it back!

Let's claim it! We are "The Chosen People"!

Please find time to read our MANIFESTO: THE LEAGUE OF PINOY STOCK MARKET STUDENTS.
Let's all INVESTINFUN!
